When writing my proposal I wrote down that I would like to see if Helvetica has influenced other areas of design, as it turns out it has not only influenced areas in design but also inspired brands to base their product on the typeface. In this post I will be looking into several products that were inspired by the typeface. It is very interesting to see how a typeface can become so powerful it turns into a brand.
While conducting my research I am noticing that Helvetica is not just a typeface anymore but a complete brand. It is such a beautiful font then again it tends to be an easy way out. Now that I have been researching the typeface for some weeks I am finding myself on the fence towards the typeface. In this blog post instead of tackling an article I would like tackle how powerful Helvetica has become over the years.
